  • The Magnetic Handset works in conjunction with the Cradle / Reed Switch Assy. The handset utilizes a magnet in the receiver area which activates a reed switch on the Cradle to signal the on/off hook status of the telephone each time the handset is lifted and returned.

    Cradle / Reed Switch Assembly
  • The Cradle / Reed Switch Assy. utilizes a reed switch to signal the on/off hook status of the telephone when a Magnetic Handset is used in conjunction with it. This simple design uses no moving parts and is easier to maintain than most traditional hookswitches that rely on a moving lever and micro switch.
  • High Quality Chrome finish

  • Reed Switch is easily replaceable via 2 screws.
  • Includes 6" wire with two spade connectors.

  • The Metal Handset Cord Grommet provides a finished look where the armored handset cord exits the phone or panel.

  • Includes set screw which provides additional anchorage for the handset cord
  • Inside Diameter (what the cord passes through) is approx. 3/8” (9mm)
  • Outside diameter (what enters the phone or panel) is approx. 1/2 ” (13mm). The lip which covers the hole is approx. 5/8” (17mm)
